Tourism has developed abruptly in recent years in my area. More and more tourists are visiting the area, booking hotels and eating out. However, some people are wondering whether this has had a positive or a negative impact on the area.
When it comes to tourism in my area, there are many advantages worth mentioning. Investments have been made and jobs have been created to cater for the tourists' needs. Moreover, tourists spend a lot of money that helps us improve tourism even more. Last but not least, by having tourists with us, we can share our traditions, dishes or favourite places.
On the other hand, tourism also has negative impact on this area. Tourists have flooded the streets, bothering locals with their noise and litter. Indeed, it has been a more crowded area since tourism developed.
